Local event management agency D’Sunlit has partnered with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to run a campaign to raise funds for wildlife conservation projects.
D’Sunlit, which organises Brunei’s popular bi-annual consumer and trade fair, has distributed 1,600 ceramic elephant-shaped coin banks to 18 schools across the country, as part of the “Colour the Endangered” campaign. ......

THE capital was a riot of colour last Sunday as various associations, government and non-government organisations were involved in the decorated floats procession held as part of the official opening of the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas.Not missing out on the event was the Tutong District. Selected members from the Tutong community showcased their very own float which was themed ‘Gagasan Masyarakat Makmur Daerah Tutong’, roughly translated as ‘peace and prosperous community in Tutong District’. The float was designed by Muhammad Amir bin Haji Umarali.Muhammad Amir explained that the float’s design incorporated three elements: history, progress and vision – which fit the theme of the float’s decoration, reflecting a prosperous community supportive of the nation’s Vision 2035.........

A BLOOD donation drive was hosted at the D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd office in Jalan Perindustrian Beribi II, Gadong yesterday.Organised by the Brunei Fuzhou Shiyyi Association with support from Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, the annual blood donation event was meant to be participated by the association’s members and D’Sunlit staff; which also saw walk-in blood donors.RIPAS Hospital constantly requires fresh and good blood supplies to ensure that its blood bank holds sufficient stocks of blood to face emergencies. The hospital regularly runs blood donation campaigns across the nation to maintain national blood stocks.....
